A Clean, Hardwired Security Camera System with Centralized Networking
Project Overview
Upgraded the home’s network and security infrastructure to improve coverage, reliability, and surveillance. Work included enclosure replacement, new inter-floor cable routing, drywall access and repair, new Wi-Fi access points, and security camera installation.
What We Did
-
Replaced existing network enclosure with a larger structured media enclosure
-
Routed new data cabling from second floor to first floor
-
Opened drywall as needed for cable paths, then repaired and finished to match existing surfaces
-
Installed and configured new Ubiquiti Wi-Fi access points
-
Installed and integrated new Ubiquity security cameras into the network

Why It Matters
Strong Wi-Fi and reliable cameras depend on proper infrastructure. Clean cable routing, correct access point placement, and invisible drywall repair ensure consistent performance without compromising the home’s finish.

Ideal For
-
Homes with weak or inconsistent Wi-Fi
-
Multi-story houses needing better coverage
-
Homeowners adding or upgrading security cameras
-
Network systems that have outgrown their existing enclosure
