A Clean, Hardwired Security Camera System with Centralized Networking

Project Overview

Upgraded the home’s network and security infrastructure to improve coverage, reliability, and surveillance. Work included enclosure replacement, new inter-floor cable routing, drywall access and repair, new Wi-Fi access points, and security camera installation.

What We Did
  • Replaced existing network enclosure with a larger structured media enclosure

  • Routed new data cabling from second floor to first floor

  • Opened drywall as needed for cable paths, then repaired and finished to match existing surfaces

  • Installed and configured new Ubiquiti Wi-Fi access points

  • Installed and integrated new Ubiquity security cameras into the network

Why It Matters

Strong Wi-Fi and reliable cameras depend on proper infrastructure. Clean cable routing, correct access point placement, and invisible drywall repair ensure consistent performance without compromising the home’s finish.
