How many speakers do I need for my home theater?

For most living rooms and media spaces, a 4.1 setup (four speakers plus a subwoofer) sounds great and handles movies, music, and TV beautifully. If you want something closer to a real movie theater experience, the options are endless. A 5.1, 7.1, 9.1, or full Dolby Atmos setup with in-ceiling speakers gives you true overhead sound. During your consultation we’ll walk through your space, how you use it, and what’ll sound best.

Do you install Samsung Frame TVs and LG G-Series OLEDs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, these are some of our favorite TVs to install. The LG G-Series is designed for a flush, gallery-style wall mount with virtually no gap, and we conceal the power cable for a clean, finished look. The Samsung Frame uses a separate “One Connect Box” that handles all the inputs and power, connected to the TV by a single thin cable. Most installers leave this box visible on a shelf or table. We hide it inside the wall, in an adjacent cabinet, or in a custom equipment rack, so all you see is the TV.

Do you install backyard sound systems?

Yes. We design and install full backyard sound systems that fill the yard without overpowering it. Outdoor speakers are placed for even coverage, weather-rated for Bay Area conditions, and integrated with your indoor audio so the music follows you outside.

Yes. Outdoor TV installation is one of our specialties. We install outdoor-rated TVs in patios, pool areas, kitchens, and covered outdoor spaces. We handle the mounting, weatherproofing, power, network connection, and sound system pairing.

Do you install projectors and laser TVs?

Yes. We install all major projector brands, including Epson, BenQ, and Sony, along with short-throw laser TVs from Hisense and others. Whether you’re going with a traditional ceiling-mounted projector for a dedicated theater room, or a laser TV for a living room setup, we’ll help you choose the right display, calculate throw distance and screen size, and install everything for the best picture.

Can you mount a TV over my fireplace?

Yes, and we do it often. The key is the right mount, proper heat management, and clean cable routing so the install looks built-in rather than bolted on. We use articulating or pull-down mounts where needed so the TV sits at a comfortable viewing angle, not just stuck up high. We’ll evaluate your fireplace and walls during the consultation to make sure it’s a good fit.
